Built-in Functions

Nexial comes with a series of built-in functions to facilitate common automation routines such as date, count, formatting, random strings.  Not to be confused with predefined or user-defined data variable, these functions are denoted as  $(...).  They can be used as a parameter, or a part of a parameter, and can often be used in combination with test data to render dynamic values.
